Hi all. i have my daughter on enfamil stage 1 0-12 months and im just wondering if i need to switch her to stage 2 of enfapro and what the difference is and if i can keep her on the one i have her on now. Thank you.
Enfamil, baby milk powder, is an instant milk substitute, which provides the exact amount of nutrients for the growing baby. Enfamil stage 1 milk has ingredients to boost immune growth and brain development in infants. Enfamil milk powder contains a balanced combination of minerals like calcium, phosphorus, iodine, magnesium, zinc, copper, sodium, potassium and selenium and vitamins like vitamins A, C, D, E, folic acid, thiamine, niacin, riboflavin and biotin along with proteins, milk fat, monounsaturated fatty acids and polyunsaturated fatty acids. These nutrients support the optimum growth of infants in early months. The protein content is modified to reduce the overload on infant’s kidneys.
We currently use Enfamil stage 1. Being that the stage 2 is listed as 6-18 months, I thought I should maybe find some info on it. We eat a lot of solids (he prefers it over his bottle) so not sure if it's worth the switch...
Here’s my finding. To my surprise, the Enfamil Stage 1 in Malaysia has lesser overall minerals than Singapore’s. However the important minerals such as the DHA, AHA, Choline, they both have the same amount. And Malaysia’s Enfamil stage 1 has more Dietary Fiber which I believe is better for relieving constipation.
