Kids can discover the delight of sewing their own clothes and accessories with this easy-to-work, “learn-to-sew” sewing machine for kids that's just their size. Kids will learn to sew and create special handmade crafts. Features 2 speeds, adjustable stitch lengths, drop-in bobbins and presser foot specially designed so little hands can't slip under—features that help make this one of the beginners’ sewing machines there is. Comes in a sewing kit carrying case that fits 2 yds. of fabric, ribbon, buttons, thimble, measuring tape, tomato pin cushion, rickrack, felt, 4 bobbins, 2 machine needles, scissors, straight pins and project book. Though it’s designed to be a kids’ sewing machine, adult supervision is suggested.

Thank you so much for this blog! As I was researching sewing machines for kids, your site was the most detailed. When choosing a birthday present for my six-year-old granddaughter, the Janome Fast Lane Fuschia seemed like the best fit. We ended up getting it in Lovely Lilac. The three-quarter size is perfect for her and the finger guard is a great safety feature. Her 3 1/2-year-old brother wants to try it, too.
I have two handy tips to pass along. We set the machine up, all threaded and ready to go,in a spare room and just wrapped the box. That way, Caitlyn could start sewing right away without waiting for set up. Also, the wrapping paper had dots on the back of it for a cutting guide. I had Caitlyn so down a line of dots, then pivot and sew along another line of dots. Instant straight lines! She has already completed three simple projects On her machine.
