I give The Lone Ranger 2 out of 5 stars for various reasons. While there are some funny and really entertaining parts of the movie, what is most memorable about the film is its lack of good writing and plot. Most of the film is predicable and other parts are just downright ridiculous when our hero is shooting, jumping, and fighting like a mutant out of the X-men. When you pair that with the excessive amount of scantily clad women in the movie it makes this poor rating an easy decision. If you just absolutely need to see Tonto and his Kemosabe, I would recommend you wait until it comes out on DVD.
