we are currently using the tommee tippee anti colic bottles for my 9 week old DS but he is still suffering horribly with wind. we screams during feeds and is in awful discomfort - painful to watch I was wondering if the dr browns bottles could be better, or do they work in the same way as the tommee tippee ones with the vent system? has anyone used both? I am desperate to help my baby
In my opinion, the Tommee Tippee anti colic feeding bottles are the best anti colic bottles on the market! I originally bought the standard Tommee Tippee newborn starter set ready for the arrival of my son but after a few days of using them I found that he had trouble parting with his wind. I tried many off the different available anti-colic remedies and bottles that are currently on the market (including some very pricey ones) until I came across these. They worked a treat and my son got his wind up with no trouble at all. The bottle includes an antic colic valve and vent tube which has a cap on the bottom, this cap is the only difference I found between this brand and others I have tried. The anti colic vent tube even has heat sensing pads attached which tell you if the bottle is too cold, too hot or just right! No more testing the temperature on the wrist! A brilliant product at a reasonable price that I would recommend to all.
