Toys R Us Japan like Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and others held a special launch event for the new Transformers: Age of Extinction toyline (called Transformers: Lost Age in Japan). The launch event featured an autograph session with the Takara-Tomy design team, some very cool display pieces and an autograph board for fans to sign and leave their 30th birthday wishes for Transformers, which became covered with sketches of fan-favorite characters such as Optimus Prime, Rodimus, Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Dai Atlas and Rung.
